Puzzle games ask you to think rather than react. Some are quiet and unhurried — matching tiles, sliding blocks, connecting pipes. Others hide a real difficulty curve behind friendly artwork and will keep you on one screen for twenty minutes. All of them run in the browser, so you can start one on a break and close the tab without losing anything.

This is the largest section on the site, and the most varied. A puzzle game can mean a five-minute match-three round on a phone, a logic grid that wants a pencil and paper, or a physics sandbox where the solution is obvious the moment you stop overthinking it. The common thread is that the game waits for you: almost nothing here punishes a pause.
What tends to work well. If you want something to unwind with, look for match-three, jigsaw and hidden-object titles — they are forgiving and the progress is visible. If you want to be genuinely stuck for a while, sokoban-style block pushers, pipe and wire connection puzzles, and escape-room games are where the difficulty lives. Word and number games sit in between and tend to age well, because a good one is worth replaying.
Playing on a phone. Most puzzle games were designed for touch first, so this is one of the few categories where the mobile experience is often better than the desktop one. Games with small grids or drag-precision requirements are the exception — those are easier with a mouse.
Nothing needs installing and nothing needs an account. Progress in most titles is stored in your browser, which means clearing site data will reset it.
